Andrée Eva Bosch

Andrée Eva Bosch was born in 1952 in Mpumalanga, she went on to major in English and Afrikaans at the University of Stellenbosch and UNISA. Andrée spent 10 fulfilling years as a journalist for several newspapers, after which she wrote freelance for various magazines. She is currently a partner in a furniture manufacturing company and considers her role as a mother an occupation.

She wrote the biography Esias Bosch (Struik Winchester, 1988) about her father, a celebrated SA potter. Andrée also wrote a children's book, 'n Blou Kameelperdjie vir Oupa (Human & Rousseau, 1991), which was awarded the Old Mutual Prize for Children's Literature in 1993.
